We handle the registration and setup of the domain to make sure it points to your website.
When you register a domain it’s like creating the book cover. It’s the name by which your website will be referred to. Such as this website, www.pulsemediasolutions.com. The contents of the book is your website and the cover is what makes your content known. A domain name creates that gateway for users to see your website and it’s contents.

Someone else has registered my domain name...
All ICANN-accredited registrars follow a uniform dispute resolution policy. Under that policy, disputes over entitlement to a domain-name registration are ordinarily resolved by court litigation between the parties claiming rights to the registration. Once the court rules who is entitled to the registration, the registrar will implement that ruling. In disputes arising from registrations allegedly made abusively (such as “cyber squatting” and “cyber piracy”), the uniform policy provides an expedited administrative procedure to allow the dispute to be resolved without the cost and delays often encountered in court litigation. In these cases, you can invoke the administrative procedure by filing a complaint with one of the dispute-resolution service providers listed at http://www.icann.org/udrp/approved-providers.htm. For more details on the uniform dispute resolution policy, see http://www.icann.org/udrp/udrp.htm, and the FAQs at http://www.internic.net/faqs/udrp.html.
Domain Name Transfers
Pulse Media Solutions offers Domain Name Transfer for the domain name of your choice. If your looking to transfer your domain to a new registrar, we can help facilitate that transfer and re-register the domain name.
What Is Domain Name Transferring?
When you transfer a domain name you take it away from one registrar and place it with another. Reasons for transferring domain names include: Too Expensive, Poor Customer Service, Lack of Support and more. Transferring a domain name does not affect the performance of a website.
Someone else has registered a domain I want...
First you contact the company that you wish to transfer your domain to. Never contact the company you are currently registered with until required. Some companies have turned off domains when they receive word that a customer is transferring. It’s not ethical or legal, but it does happen.
Once you contact the new registrar and start the transfer, you are required to authorize the transfer. You then receive in email (usually) an authorization code that you must give to the receiving company. Once that is complete the transfer takes roughly 48-72 hours to complete. During this time, if the losing company didn’t do anything to the domain such as altering the DNS servers, your website performance should not be affected and your website should function as normal. Although it can not be guaranteed, past experience has shown no problems with transferring domain names.
